We recently saw Lenovo giving away a top-rated platformer, Human: Fall Flat, for free. While that deal is long gone, another one has taken its place. This time, it's from the Steam library. Steam is currently offering the indie game Mini Thief for free. The best part is that this fun stealth puzzle game also features a co-op mode, so you can invite your friends to join in as well.
This deal is valid until January 24, 17:00 UTC, meaning gamers have four days (at the time of writing) to claim the game for absolutely $0. Even without the deal, the game is only $3, but the ‘Mixed’ reviews may have given you a reason to avoid it. However, while it’s completely free, it’s certainly worth a try – and only asks for 10MB of space; a great opportunity to grab a free game to enjoy with friends.
What can you expect from Mini Thief?
Mini Thief is a stealth game set in a 2D world where your primary objective is to burgle houses and collect valuable items, which can later be exchanged for money. The game features several levels, each with its own unique challenges that become more difficult as you progress. In fact, the game also changes security placements and has randomized patrols, meaning every time you play, you need to adopt a different strategy.

Mini Thief system requirements
A plus point is that this game doesn't require demanding hardware, which shouldn't come as a surprise for a 2D indie game. This means that for PC handheld owners, it could be a perfect little addition to their library. The game isn’t Steam Deck verified, likely as a result of its obscurity, but according to ProtonDB, it works just fine in Proton experimental.
