If you’e got a high-end gaming PC then you need a monitor to match, and we think this MSI MPG 321URX 4K display is a great shout. We scored it 4.5 stars in our review, and were particularly impressed with its performance, responsiveness, and picture quality, and the good news is that Micro Center has reduced the price of it by $250. But be aware, this deal is for pick-up only.
Right now, you can grab this 4K gaming monitor for $949.99 down from $1,199.99, which is a welcome price drop on a very high-end QD-OLED monitor. What we like about the MSI MPG 321URX 32″ gaming monitor
This MSI gaming monitor has a lot going for it and is up there with some of the best gaming monitors around. The most obvious and likeable features of this display are its 4K, 240Hz panel, fantastic contrast ratio, excellent response time, and 90W USB-C power delivery. These are all features we’d expect from the top-tier options on the market, and it’s great to see MSI doesn’t scale back here.
For gaming, which we’d say should be the primary use of this monitor, we found that colors popped, it produced rich blacks, and motion clarity remained sharp at full refresh rates. The only slight downside is that there’s no certified native support module for G-Sync or FreeSync, but we didn’t experience any screen tearing in our testing. Overall, it’s a brilliant monitor, and well worth the investment if you’ve got a high-end PC to match.
- QD-OLED: A hybrid technology that is the top-tier of gaming monitor displays, delivering incredible contrast, color, and sharpness.
- Super responsive: This has a 240HZ refresh rate with 0.03ms response time, which is at the top end when it comes to 4K monitors and ideal for use with both high-powered consoles and PCs.
- HDMI 2.1: Great to pair with a PS5 or Xbox Series X to use for 4K at higher fps.
- Stunning design: Thanks to the OLED panel, it’s super thin, making it a stunning addition to any setup.
Who’s this deal for?
Coming in at $949.99, we’d say this monitor is only for those looking for something to match with a similarly high-end PC build, and one they plan on using mostly for gaming in 4K at higher fps. It’s a decent shout to be paired with a PS5 or Xbox Series X also, but honestly, it’s a little overkill for those consoles as you only really need a 144Hz, 4K monitor to get the most out of them.
