If you own a Steam Deck and have been thinking about buying a dock, the Chizha Mount Ling Dock is one to consider. It’s made by Dockcase, a brand known for its USB hubs and other small tech accessories. They have made many reliable hubs in the past, and now they’re using that same experience to build a special dock for the Steam Deck.
The Chizha Mount Ling Dock has a very unique design. It triangular shape is inspired by Lingshan, a mountain near Beijing, and the shape is an obvious contrast to most other Steam Deck docks on the market. The base has a soft rubber surface that helps prevent scratches, and the whole dock feels strong and well-built. Dockcase even added RGB lighting, with bright lighting zones on each side of the front.
Built-in cooling system, SSD connectivity, and introductory offers
Another big feature is the dock’s built-in cooling system. It uses a 5000rpm fan and two airflow channels to push heat away, which helps keep your Steam Deck cool during long play sessions. The fan can be heard when it’s running at full speed, but it isn’t loud enough to be annoying, especially since you won’t be sitting right next to it.
You also get all the ports you could need, such as two USB-A ports and one USB-C 10Gbps port. On top of that, it comes with a Gigabit Ethernet port, which is great for those who want a stable, wired internet connection. You’ll also get an HDMI 2.0 port, which supports 4K at 60Hz for a smooth gameplay experience.
One of the best features is the M.2 SSD slot on the bottom. You can install an SSD up to 4TB, including 2230, 2242, and 2280 sizes. This means you can store a huge game library directly inside the dock. The Steam Deck will detect the drive once you format it, and you can expect fast game load times through it. At the front of the dock, there’s also a touchscreen panel that shows the status of each port. You can see if your HDMI, SSD, or power is active. You can also use it to adjust fan speeds and lighting effects.
