Table of Contents
This RTX 5060 Ti 16GB gaming PC is now very competitively priced at Newegg thanks to a recent $270 price cut, which has dropped its price down from $1,499.99 to $1,229.99, and its lowest price in 30 days. At only a couple of hundred dollars more than your typical RTX 5060 8GB prebuild, this PC is a smart choice for anyone looking for brilliant 1080p and 1440p gaming performance, but also something that can handle non-gaming tasks that benefit from higher VRAM, such as 3D rendering or AI tasks. For the price, we think it’s a real winner, and well worth jumping on while it’s reduced.

Key features and specs of this Skytech gaming PC
First off, you’ve got the impressive RTX 5060 Ti here, which is one of the best graphics cards to go for if you’re looking for something budget-friendly, but with more VRAM than your standard RTX 5060 model. Instead of 8GB, you have 16GB here, which makes it better for gaming, yes, but also a much better option for tasks like 3D rendering. In terms of gaming, in our review, we were impressed with its 1080p and 1440p performance, especially when DLSS 4 and MFG were enabled. It was able to get a 78fps at 1440p with Cyberpunk 2077 at max settings, and with Doom Eternal, it managed 162fps at 1440p with ray tracing. Overall, a versatile, excellent value for money graphics card.
Moving onto the CPU, you’ve got the Ryzen 7 7700, which is a good all-rounder choice that’s great for gaming, and also a good choice for productivity, multitasking, and creative workflows. It features 8 cores and 16 threads, making it a preferable option to some of the more budget-oriented CPUs for multithreaded workloads. On top of that, it has a 5.3Ghz boost clock speed and a large 32MB L3 cache, which are both very good for gaming performance and ensuring smooth gameplay at high framerates.
In addition to this excellent GPU and CPU combination, this PC also features a high-performance Air cooler with aRGB fans, which should keep this system running at its best even with prolonged usage. The PC case itself is designed to maximize airflow, too, but still manages to deliver when it comes to aesthetics, thanks to its wrap-around tempered glass panels. On top of that, this PC also has 32GB of DDR5 RAM, which will be excellent for gaming and RAM-intensive creative applications, and features a decent-sized 1TB Gen4 SSD for speedy data transfer and ample storage.
What you should consider before buying
For the price, this is one of the most competitive deals we’ve come across for an RTX 5060 Ti build, but the big consideration would be whether to pay a few hundred dollars more and go for an RTX 5070 build instead. In short, the RTX 5070 has less VRAM, but it’s more powerful than the RTX 5060 Ti when it comes to overall performance, making it a better option for 1440p gaming, for example. On the other hand, the RTX 5060 TI’s 16GB of VRAM is going to be far superior for AI and creative tasks that demand more memory, making it a better choice if you want something that can do it all, but without spending too much.
