GravaStar 65W USB C Charger

Alpha65 Robot Fast GaN Charger Block, 3-Port Fast Power Adapter, Foldable Compact Wall USB C Charger for iPhone, MacBook, iPad, Galaxy S23/S24, Steam Deck

More than a charger?

The GravaStar 65W USB-C is a charger, but its main attraction is its design, which resembles a little robot. At first glance, it reminded me of WALL-E, and there’s more to it. When you plug it in an extension, its legs bend, making it look like it is sitting down. When you're not using it, you can straighten them out and put them on top of your desk, so it’s an action figure/charger combo. It’s great for devices such as your phone, laptop, tablet, or of course your Steam Deck.

It comes with overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuit, overtemperature, overpower, undervoltage, electrostatic, and anti-interference protection. What this means is that regardless of the device you're charging, you can rest easy knowing this GravaStar charger will protect them.

According to GravaStar, this charger can charge an iPhone 14 to 50% in 30 minutes and a MacBook Air M2 to full capacity in 90 minutes. It comes with two USB-C ports and one USB-A, making it a great accessory for the Steam Deck.

So, you can charge your mobile, laptop, and any other device at the same time; however, depending on which ports you use, you'll get a different output. This charging guide explains it best, but if you want access to all 65W, use the second USB-C port.

Should you get this charger for the Steam Deck?

If you find yourself carrying more than one charger for multiple devices, this charger should serve you well with its triple-port capabilities. On top of that, not all devices need 65W, so if you can prioritize what you need the most and get that charged first, the others can take their time to reach 100% charging.

For reference, the Steam Deck pulls up to 45W when charging – this is what the official charger is rated at. So while the GravaStar robot shouldn’t make any faster (at its max 65W), we think the design, plus the multi-charging feature, makes it well worth the purchase while it’s on offer.
