The original TRYX Panorama was a widely lauded All-In-One cooler on its release, bringing great cooling performance for high-end rigs along with a unique feature: a 60Hz panoramic AMOLED display on the water block that curves round at approximately 90°. This 6.5” display works particularly nicely for those with a panoramic PC case with glass on the front and side, allowing you to view whatever media you choose to display on it (including MP4s as well as GIFs and JPEGs) from both angles. We can safely say it's the nicest screen we've seen on a cooler by some margin.
The new SE variant has the same great display, but is available for a cheaper price, and comes with a couple of other changes besides.

How does the SE variant differ from the standard Tryx Panorama AIO?
Firstly, the price: the Panorama SE is around $70 cheaper than the standard Panorama AIO, depending on which radiator size you choose. Secondly, the pump: rather than the Asetek 8th gen the SE variant comes with the new Asetek Adela pump. Finally, the rotatable display: the screen can now 180° between three adjustable positions: left horizontal, vertical, or right horizontal, giving you lots of options depending on how you want your PC to be laid out.
- Socket Support: LGA 1851/1700/1200/1151/1150/1155 and AMD AM4/AM5
- Pump: ASETEK Adela
- Fans: 3x ROTA ARGB FDB
- Noise level: 27.86dB(A)
- Display specs: 60Hz, 6.5″, 2K (372PPI), AMOLED curved screen
The Anamorphic AMOLED screen
So let's take a closer look at that screen! The anamorphic vision design of the display basically compensates for the distorting effect of the bend in the image around the curved point (the G2 curvature if we're being specific), presenting the image as one seamless picture to the observer regardless of whatever angle you have it at. ‘Brightness Balance' tech also helps compensate for the changes in brightness brought about by the different angles and distance of parts of the curved screen from your eye – further helping present one nice, consistent image. There's also an anti-glare coating to make the image as clear as possible despite the other RGB light sources that might be bouncing around your case.
With a 60Hz refresh rate (the same max refresh rate that games consoles were limited to not so long ago) you can enjoy very fluid video footage on what is a pretty big screen for an in-case display. The brightness peaks at 400nits, which is also very respectable, better than most laptops in fact, and produces a nice clear image. The high 372 PPI (Pixels Per Inch) makes for a nice sharp image, and the unbeatable contrast ratio of the AMOLED panel (1,000,000:1, which is effectively close to perfect) really brings out the detail in the deepest blacks against the brighter whites, making the picture really pop.
Finally, the screen has a tempered glass cover to minimize the risk of any scratches or other damage when you're building/upgrading or otherwise fiddling with the internals of your PC.
What sort of media can you display on the screen?
The free software that controls the screen is Kanali, which can be used to display imagery and information in various combinations to make the most out of its physical design.
The screen can be split into two displays, separated by the seam of the curve, with different imagery on each. Using the System Information Display you can select up two three data points to show on the full-size screen at any one time, or six if you split it, including CPU/GPU/Memory temperatures, frequency, usage, voltage etc. plus the date and time. You can apply various filter effects to the information display if you want to snazz it up further.
Besides this the full/half screen can instead show still or moving image content that you can upload yourself, including MP4s, JPEGs, GIFs, and others. Alternatively you can pick from the existing content library, which comes preloaded with official custom-designed 3D content that will be continuously updated by TRYX.
If you want to rotate the display to the vertical/portrait alignment ‘waterfall mode' can be enabled to rotate the Information UI accordingly, or you can enjoy videos of literal 3D waterfalls from the content library.
Dedicated CPU, memory & storage
So as to ensure that whatever you have running on the panoramic screen has no impact whatsoever on your computer's performance, the Panorama SE comes with its own processor, RAM, and even ROM storage! Specifically, you get a 4-core CPU, 4GB of RAM, and 8GB of ROM. Very nice indeed.
The Asetek Adela pump
The Panorama SE is equipped with the Asetek Adela pump, which is a fanless design with a 800-3600(+-300)RPM motor speed, and 280W-300W Dynamic Thermal Power Capacity.
The water block measures 125x94x92mm and is compatible with the following processor chipsets: LGA1851/1700/1200/115X or AM4/AM5. Included with the AIO you also get α-01 high performance thermal grease to apply between the water block and the CPU.
The TRYX ROTA ARGB fans
Whether you opt for the 240mm or 360mm radiator variants, the 120mm ROTA ARGB fans that the Panorama SE comes with are the same as those in the regular Panorama, which is no bad thing. The fan blades are made from polycarbonate (PC) material and have Fluid Dynamic Bearings (FDB) to minimize noise. The rotation speed is 500~1850 RPM +- 10%, with a quoted airflow of 66.09 CF, which equates to a static pressure of 1.8 mmAq.
The fans will come with ARGB Gen2 LEDs offering vibrant RGB colors and effects, which can be controlled via the motherboard, as can the speed settings.
What sizes and colors are available?
As you can see in the image above the Panorama SE comes in two size options (240mm and 360mm), with two different color variants of each: black and white. Both color options are available for the same price.
- Panorama SE 240 ARGB Black ($259.99 USD)
- Panorama SE 240 ARGB White ($259.99 USD)
- Panorama SE 360 ARGB Black ($279.99 USD)
- Panorama SE 360 ARGB White ($279.99 USD)
Up to 6 years warranty
Just to give you that extra piece of mind, the actual liquid cooling element of this AIO comes with a very nice 6-year warranty, and the display section has a 2-year warranty. Of course, this may vary somewhat depending on whereabouts in the world you live, so it's always worth double-checking.
