Vampire Survivors enters Steam Deck top 10 charts following new update and discount on Steam
Vampire Survivors recently received a big new update, accompanied by a free expansion filled with content. On top of that, the game is also currently listed with a big discount on Steam, and all of this has caused its popularity to surge on the Steam Deck.

If you check the latest Steam Deck Top Played charts, you'll find Vampire Survivors sitting at the 9th spot, ahead of Hades, Balatro, and Brotato. The game has climbed 13 positions to achieve this spot, and we’re expecting it to climb even higher in the coming days.
The biggest reason behind this sudden surge in popularity is the new 1.14 update, which has added plenty of new content to the game. According to the official patch notes, players can now explore Westwoods, a gamba-themed stage, and Mazerella, a maze-like labyrinth map. The update also introduces a Party Mode, allowing up to four characters to be played at once. Along with that, there are two new playable characters, two new weapons (with evolutions), one new Character Morph, one new PowerUp, three new Darkanas, and a new Survarot game mechanic.

The developers have also released a new free expansion called Ante Chamber, created in collaboration with Balatro. This crossover expansion brings a poker-inspired twist to the game's chaotic gameplay. It also introduces new characters like Jimbo, Canio, Chicot, and Perkeo, each with unique abilities and passives, so there’s plenty for you to enjoy.
The fun doesn’t stop here, as the ongoing Scream Fest on Steam has also slashed 30% off Vampire Survivors for a limited time, bringing its price down from $4.99 to just $3.49. Do keep in mind that the discount is available until November 4, so make sure to grab it before that.
