Xbox Game Pass owners will soon be able to enjoy three remastered Warcraft games

Microsoft regularly adds new titles for Game Pass owners to enjoy. Recently, the company added the remastered versions of the prequels to Baldur’s Gate 3, and now they’re back again with another exciting announcement. If you’re a Game Pass user and have been wanting to dive into the Warcraft series, you’ll be glad to know that you will soon be able to play the remastered versions of the three main games from the series completely free.
Microsoft shares a new Game Pass update
Microsoft recently shared a new announcement on the official Xbox blog, where they provided an update for Game Pass users. This update highlights the games being added to Game Pass, but also lists the titles that will be leaving the subscription at the end of this month.
Starting today, Game Pass users can access and play the following games for free. We’ve also listed which subscription each game is available under:
- FBC: Firebreak (Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass)
- Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time (Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, Game Pass Standard)
- Lost in Random: The Eternal Die (Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass)
While these games are available now, Microsoft will be adding even more titles throughout June. On June 18, Game Pass Standard users will get access to Star Trucker and Wildfrost. Then, on June 19, Rematch will become available for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass users, followed by Volcano Princess on June 24. On June 26, Warcraft I: Remastered (PC), Warcraft II: Remastered (PC), and Warcraft III: Reforged (PC) will be added for both Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass users. On the same day, Against the Storm will also become available for Game Pass Ultimate members.
The fun doesn’t end there, as Call of Duty: WWII will also join the Game Pass library on June 30, while Little Nightmares II and Rise of the Tomb Raider will arrive on July 1. All three of these will be available for Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard users. Microsoft has also confirmed that while these new games are being added, the following titles will be leaving the Game Pass library:
