Mark Zuckerberg is reportedly building an AI agent to help him manage Meta and become a better CEO
AI is now part of almost every industry, and it’s improving quickly. Companies are using it to automate tasks, analyze data, and speed up work. Top executives are starting to rely on it quite heavily, as a recent report from WSJ claims Mark Zuckerberg is building an AI agent to help him manage Meta, as a sort of right-hand man.
The supposed AI agent is still in development, but it is already being tested in some capacity. Its main job is to help Zuckerberg get information faster and make decisions quickly. Instead of asking multiple teams for updates, the AI can pull the required data instantly. This removes delays and makes the process more efficient.
Zuckerberg’s personal AI agent
The idea behind this system is simple: reduce the number of steps needed to get information and make decisions. In a company as large as Meta, using AI can obviously save a lot of time. It’s no surprise to see executives such as Nvidia’s CEO Jensen Huang hold a similar sentiment, recently comparing those who don’t use AI to like using “paper and pencil” to design chips. Zuckerberg’s use of a dedicated AI agent should also help avoid confusion that may happen when information passes through multiple people – everything is streamlined through a single channel.

This is part of a bigger plan inside Meta. The company is using AI tools to improve productivity across its workforce. Instead of relying on large teams, Meta is trying to simplify its structure. Zuckerberg has already said that the goal is to “flatten teams” and let individuals do more on their own using AI tools.
Meta is also working on other AI systems alongside this upcoming CEO agent. One of them is reportedly called Second Brain. It works like a smart assistant that can search documents, organize information, and help with projects. Some employees describe it as an “AI chief of staff.” Another tool being tested is MyClaw. It can access work files and chat logs to provide quick answers and help employees complete tasks faster. These tools are already being used internally to improve workflow.
