With the full-fat iOS 15.2 experience out in the wild, developers and curious iPhone/iPad enthusiasts are looking at the next beta release from Apple. iOS 15.3 will be the next iteration of iOS 15, but surely there’s not a lot of features to add thanks to the large iOS 15.2 updates bringing a lot of iOS 15 missing features into the fold.

Universal Control is still waiting for its iOS debut with it being delayed from fall 2021 to ‘sometime in 2022’ according to Apple, so that’s 100% not making an appearance. In fact, there are no new release patch notes for iOS 15.3 at all according to Apple’s developer website.

Whilst we can’t confirm any specific bugs and errors at the time of writing, we can confirm that iOS beta builds can be unstable and cause all kinds of general issues with iPhones/iPads. We do know that iPhones are having trouble with Bluetooth when using CarPlay and connecting to other Bluetooth peripherals with iOS 15.2 installed, so let’s hope iOS 15.3 fixes this bug. iOS 15.3 beta is available to all developers and members of Apple’s beta software program via an over-the-air update under build number 19D5026g. Simply go to Settings > General > Software Update to get the ball rolling with the update, although users should have already been notified.
