Last Updated on
Whilst the actual reveal of the 30 series graphics cards was months ago now, it seems that Nvidia still has a few surprises up their sleeve when it comes to the line of graphics cards they are pushing in the Ampere range.
One of those surprises is the Nvidia 3060, a brand new budget orientated graphics card that is set to enter into the Ampere line up with performance in line with the top level of Turing generation GPUs, with a few extra performance-enhancing features built right into the GPU itself.
Find out how much the GeForce RTX 3060 costs, Where to buy the new 3060 GPU, and much more below!
The brand new Nvidia 3060 is set to be on level with the biggest and most exceptional cards from the Turing generation right at launch.
For the full specifications of the Nvidia 3060, look below, but if you want an at-a-glance rundown, you will be able to expect the performance of the 2080 Super, and even more power than the 2080 Super on the founder’s edition alone – with revolutionary cooling and GDDR6 memory as standard.
Basically, this is a very powerful card that beats out the last generation easily, at a very low cost.
Thankfully, after the drought of information around the RTX 3060, CES 2021 has brought us most of what we need to know about the even more budget GPU from Nvidia.
In terms of release date, we don’t know the exact day that the RTX 3060 will be launched but what we do know, is that we will be seeing the graphics card hitting virtual shelves in February.
Again, thanks to the recently revealed info at CES 2021, we now know what the more budget RTX 3060 graphics card will be priced at.
The RTX 3060 will cost $329
