Amazon’s Big Spring sale is well on its way, and we’ve spotted some amazing deals that should help you if you’re putting together a new gaming PC or upgrading some aspects of your existing build. The Acer Predator GM7 2TB SSD caught our eye, as it has a whopping 22% price cut on Amazon, bringing its price down to $289.99.

This is a Gen4 SSD that can reach read speeds of up to 7,400 MB/s, and it is also compatible with laptops and the PlayStation 5. This makes it a versatile option to consider, and 2TB of space should also give your system a significant boost as it can house plenty of games, applications, videos, and other media.

What made this deal stand out

For starters, this SSD has an amazing price cut, and you can save a good amount of cash with this deal. Besides that, it is an excellent option if you are looking to upgrade your storage without wanting a robust storage drive that wouldn’t compromise the overall performance and efficiency of the system. The 7,400 MB/s read speed is great for a Gen4 SSD and should result in quick boot and load times.

What this means is that your PC should start faster, as well as the games and applications you launch. The processing speed should also be better with an SSD in your system. It makes use of Thermal Throttling and Power Management to balance the optimal temperature even under intense load, which adds a layer of stability to this drive.

The size of this SSD is also perfect as it can be easily installed in a laptop to increase the storage or the PS5, which is more appealing. Gaming consoles generally don’t have a lot of storage, with some high-end options only offering 1TB of space. So, if you can bump that up to 2TB, you should be good to go for a very long time.
