Amazon deal knocks 65-inch TCL Mini-LED TV down to all-time low
Table of Contents
This Amazon-exclusive TCL 65-inch QM64L series TV is down to its best price ever right now, with 34% off its list price. It’s now going for $529.99, which is a seriously good price given what you’re getting here.
Now I’ll break down this TV’s key components and features below, but if you’re short on time, these are the things you need to know. This TV has a mini-LED panel, so it’s great for color and brightness, and it’s more precise than your lower-end LED options. Basically, picture quality looks much better, especially with HDR content. Since it’s more of a mid-to-upper range offering from TCL, it has a more advanced processor than your super-budget-friendly options. That’s a big win, as the better the processor, the better the TV is at upscaling lower resolution content, enhancing audio quality, and handling motion. On top of that, it has a notably high refresh rate of 144Hz, which, when combined with Game Accelerator 288 technology, makes it a good pairing with high-end consoles or 4K-ready gaming PCs.
What we like about this TCL 65-inch QM64L series TV
Mini-LED display for exceptional brightness, color, and contrast
It’s a level-up from your typical LED, and not as expensive as OLED, making it the ideal middle-ground from a price-to-performance perspective.

144Hz native refresh rate is great for gaming and fast-paced content
This allows for up to 144fps at 4K, giving you much smoother on-screen motion so you can keep track of what’s happening more easily.
TCL Halo Control System enhances picture quality further
Mini-LEDs can make bright objects appear to glow against dark backgrounds, but this is dramatically reduced via TCL’s halo control system, giving you much crisper, high contrast picture quality.
Comprehensive HDR support
Higher-end TVs tend to support a wider range of HDR metadata, and this TV is a good example of this. It supports Doby Vision IQ, HDR 10+, HDR 10, and HLG, which means it can showcase anything from live broadcasts to movies with enhanced brightness, color, and contrast.
Its Fire TV platform is great for Amazon smart home setups
You can use this TV essentially as a smart home hub, as Fire TV is compatible with loads of devices, ranging from lighting, speakers, camera feeds, and more. It’s a great pick if you’re largely using Amazon smart home devices.
Who is this deal for?
This is what I’d call a very strong mid-range 65-inch TV that offers excellent performance from a chipset perspective, advanced haloing control, and excellent gaming features. For a TV this size, that’s mini-LED, it’s very competitively priced, and I think it would pair very well, as mentioned, if you’re someone who’s got a lot of Amazon smart home products, too.
