What we like about this Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet
10.1-inch display
The 10.1-inch 1080p Full HD display is one of the biggest reasons to choose the Fire HD 10 over a smaller tablet. The larger screen makes movies, YouTube videos, ebooks, websites, and games more enjoyable while still keeping the tablet portable enough to carry around the house or put in a bag.
Good performance
Amazon has also improved performance, with the company claiming the tablet is 25% faster than the previous generation. The octa-core processor works alongside 4GB of RAM on this model, giving it enough power for streaming, reading, browsing, social media, and lighter games. It isn’t designed for demanding mobile gaming or heavy professional work, but those aren’t really the jobs a Fire HD 10 is intended to handle.

32GB of storage
This version comes with 32GB of built-in storage, which should be enough for most users. However, it may fill up fairly quickly if you download lots of movies, games, and apps. Thankfully, there’s support for microSD cards with up to 1TB of additional storage.
Up to 13 hours of battery life
Battery life is rated at up to 13 hours, which should be enough for several movies or a full day of mixed use before you need to find a charger. Actual battery life, however, will naturally depend on screen brightness, apps, gaming, streaming, and other factors.
Who is this Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet for?
The Amazon Fire HD 10 is worth considering if you want an affordable large-screen tablet primarily for entertainment and simple everyday tasks. The 10.1-inch Full HD screen is well suited to movies, shows, reading, and browsing, while up to 13 hours of battery life makes it practical for using around the house or while traveling.
