Amazon knocks superb ASUS ROG QD-OLED 4K gaming monitor down to its record-low price again
Table of Contents
It looks like this ASUS ROG Swift gaming monitor was waiting until Prime Day was long gone to drop back to its best price ever on Amazon. A curious move, but a welcome one! It’s now 31% off its list price, and down to $899.00, which is actually very good considering this is essentially an S-tier display.
So what are you getting here? Well, it’s QD-OLED, which excels in contrast and color and boasts decent peak brightness, too. It’s 240Hz with a 0.03ms response time, so you’ve got a monitor that’s ideal for competitive gaming at up to 240fps, with minimal motion blur and ghosting. And it’s 4K and 32 inches, which not only makes for a more immersive experience but also gives you plenty of room for multiple windows and makes it a very good pick for creative work and watching content, too.
As always, I’ll go through this monitor’s key features in a bit more depth below, but if you’re short on time, here’s what you need to know. This gaming monitor is going to be best paired with a high-end 4K-ready gaming PC, and is primarily designed for showcasing AAA games at their very best. As a secondary function, it absolutely doubles up as a formidable content creation station, and I’d say with its color accuracy, 4K resolution, and sizing, it would be a strong choice for video editing in particular.

What we like about this ASUS ROG Swift 32-inch gaming monitor
QD-OLED display makes everything look more lifelike and cinematic
Its screen can basically produce near-zero-nit blacks and bright highlights, which makes everything look far more realistic and atmospheric. In low-light environments, you can create a seriously immersive experience.
Top-end refresh rate for 4K
240Hz is the top end of what you can get for 4K, and it gives you plenty of headroom to game at high frame rates, which will look super smooth and fluid on screen thanks to its low 0.03ms response time, too.
Outstanding color
It has 99% DCI-P3 color coverage and Delta E<2 accuracy, which puts it up there with professional-grade monitors for creatives. For gaming, this also adds a level of realism, especially with more nuanced colors, like skin tones.
USB-C 90W power delivery is a relatively rare premium feature
This is only really featured on the most high-end gaming monitors, and it’s a game-changer if you want to connect your laptop for display and have it charge at the same time. It’s amazing for keeping your desk space clutter-free.
Large 32-inch screen gives you plenty of room
This size is super versatile, as it gives you enough space for multiple windows when gaming, and also gives you plenty of breathing room for most creative applications’ UIs and tools. What’s more, it’s also big enough to double up as a main screen for watching content.
Advanced burn-in protection for peace of mind
The new ASUS OLED Care Pro suite is loaded with safeguards that can prevent damage from burn-in. One standout feature is its Neo Proximity Sensor, which can automatically reduce brightness when you step away from the screen itself.
How good is this deal?
It’s a genuinely good deal, and even though it hasn’t been at its list price since April, the discount is still significant. The big win here is that this is a premium monitor from one of the leaders of the pack in the space, that you’re getting for much closer to ‘standard’ pricing. It’s expensive, for sure, but it really does tick all the boxes.
