Table of Contents
The Lenovo Idea Tab is designed for studying, note-taking, and everyday entertainment. It’s not as powerful as some other tablets on the market, like the iPad Pro, but it still gets the job done just fine. And thanks to a last-minute Prime Day deal on Amazon, you can save 22% and score this tablet for just $199.99.

What we like about this Lenovo Idea Tab
Stunning 11-inch screen
The tab features an 11-inch screen with a 2.5 resolution, which should deliver better visuals compared to standard 1080p screens. The higher resolution gives text, handwritten notes, images, and videos more detail. The 11-inch size also makes it easy to carry around, as it can easily fit inside most backpacks. The display also boasts a 90Hz refresh rate, which means the visuals will be smooth.
Comes with a Tab Pen
The included Lenovo Tab Pen is particularly useful because the Idea Tab has several features built around handwriting. You can use it to take class notes, annotate material, sketch diagrams, work through calculations, or simply navigate the touchscreen more precisely. Since the pen comes with the tablet, you don’t have to buy a separate stylus before using these features.

Solid performance and battery life
The tablet is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, paired with 8GB of memory and integrated Mali-G57 MC2 graphics. It’s designed for everyday tablet workloads such as browsing, video streaming, document editing, note-taking, video calls, and running multiple educational apps.
The 8GB of memory is also decent, as it provides more breathing room when switching between applications or keeping several tasks active. You also get 256GB of storage, which is a good amount for a student tablet.
When it comes to battery life, Lenovo claims it offers up to 12 hours of YouTube playback. While the actual battery life will depend on brightness, apps, wireless connectivity, and workload, you can expect it to last an entire day during normal use.
Who is this Lenovo Idea Tab for?
The Lenovo Idea Tab is a great option if you want an affordable college tablet that already includes the accessories needed for studying. The combination of an 11-inch 2.5K display and 90Hz refresh rate provides a sharp and smooth workspace, while the included Tab Pen makes handwritten notes, calculations, annotations, and sketches much more practical.
