The release of AMD’s Radeon RX 7600XT in January gave a plethora of gaming enthusiasts a chance to spend within a reasonable price region for a competent GPU. Its cheap and affordable price which comes with high levels of performance at 1440p, gave many gaming PC players an enticing offer, to say the least.

It is clear to see that the competition between AMD and NVIDIA with their graphics cards continues to ride on. Within this, gamers have seen the release of GPUs such as the RTX 4070 Ti Super, RTX 4080 Super, and much more.

The launch of new hardware does not appear to be coming to a halt, with more rumors of AMD’s RX 8000 Series and NVIDIA’s 5000 Series GPUs.

Which GPUs are the best on the market currently?

Taking this into consideration, there may be many who are looking for access to a high-end gaming PC experience while spending as little as possible. Options are plenty, with the likes of the RTX 4090 and the RX 7900 XTX standing at the top of the list currently.

While they provide the most amount of power for demanding AAA modern titles, they come at hefty prices, especially NVIDIA’s GPUs.

Depending on the chosen resolutions for certain systems, some of these GPUs can be seen as overkill. A variety of mid-range to high-end options can work well between 4K and 1440p resolutions, with the latter being the sweet spot for many.

What GPU should you opt for in terms of affordability

Right now, the Sapphire Pulse AMD RX 7900 XT Graphics Card is on sale on Amazon, with a staggering 37% discount. It sees the original $829.99 price fall drastically by $309.99, allowing you to get your hands on it for just $520.

Reasons to Buy
  • 20GB VRAM makes this capable of 4K gaming
  • Access to FSR 3 and Fluid Motion Frames
  • Sale price much cheaper than 7900 XTX counterpart
  • HDMI 2.1
Reasons to Avoid
  • Ray tracing performance can be poor/inconsistent from game to game
  • Standard price outside of deal is close to XTX – XTX is rival to the RTX 4080

This is one of the best deals currently available for any GPU on the market. 4K gaming is more than possible here, with 20GB of VRAM ready to power through a variety of demanding games.

It is seen as an alternative to the RX 7900 XTX, and the discount here drops this closer to the recently released RX 7600 XT.
