AOC Agon Pro 34″ QD-OLED gaming monitor is going for its lowest price in 30 days on Amazon
Table of Contents
This AOC Agon Pro 34-inch curved gaming monitor is currently at its lowest price in 30 days on Amazon, coming in at $599.99. Now, this monitor is actually pretty impressive for the price, offering excellent picture quality and gaming performance, but without being so high-end that it would only make sense for enthusiast-level builds.
First up, you’ve got a QD-OLED display, so you’re going to be getting inky blacks, bright highlights, and excellent color volume. Mind you, these OLEDs are always best used in lower-light environments, where they can really give a cinematic and atmospheric sheen to whatever you’re playing or watching. Speaking of color, of course, these monitors are well suited for video editing, as they have very high DCI-P3 coverage. Not only that, but the structure itself, being wider than your typical monitor, lends itself well to video editing applications, like Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. On the gaming front, it’s 175Hz and has a 0.03ms response time, allowing for high refresh-rate gaming with good motion clarity. While its refresh rate is not extremely high, it is good enough for competitive play for sure.
For this monitor, I’d say it would pair best with something like an RTX 5070 Ti, as if you’re playing games at higher settings with ray tracing, its 175Hz refresh rate is more than enough in most cases. I’d say that this monitor is certainly more suited to slower-paced, more immersive titles than it is to super-fast-paced esports, where I think you’d be better off with a cheaper, 240Hz QHD monitor instead. Overall though, this is a cracking monitor for the price, and well worth considering while it’s still at its 30-day low. Read on for a few more of its standout features, and for more top gaming monitor deals.
