Apple AirPods Pro 3 fall close to lowest-ever price on Amazon – better noise cancelling for less
Table of Contents
Apple’s AirPods Pro 3 have dropped back near their best-ever price on Amazon, and that’s a bit of a big deal. The most capable AirPods Apple has ever produced are now available for $179, thanks to a hefty $70 discount. That’s only $10 more than their best price ever at the retailer. And although that price is still $50 more than AirPods Pro 5, the AirPods Pro 3 are definitely a level above their more affordable sibling. If this deal stands out to you, here’s what you need to know.

Why we’d pick the Apple AirPods Pro 3
The best AirPods for noise cancellation
Apple says that its more affordable AirPods 5 model has 1.5x the noise cancellation of the AirPods 4. That’s great, but the AirPods Pro 3 has 3x the noise cancellation of the AirPods 5. Or, another way, 2x the noise cancellation of the AirPods Pro 2 – this model’s predecessor. Essentially, they’re great if you need to focus, block out background noise, study, or unwind.
Excellent, balanced audio profile
The AirPods Pro 3 are renowned for dynamic and well-balanced spatial audio. That’s thanks to a new acoustic architecture providing what Apple calls ‘transformed bass’ and enhanced clarity in hearing specific instruments and captivating vocals. The audio quality carries over into calls, so whatever you’re using the Pro 3 for, you’ll hear the details clearly.

Added features
These earbuds aren’t just better quality than the Apple stablemates. They also offer two unique features. The first is built-in heart rate sensing and calories burned, which sync to Apple’s Workout Buddy. The second is for better hearing, as the AirPods Pro 3 support a hearing test, a Hearing Aid feature with conversation boost, and active Hearing Protection against loud environments.
What to consider before you buy
The AirPods Pro 3 are a lot less expensive in this deal. However, they have been less expensive before, if only by $10. Still, at the deal price, and with the added health and hearing feature, they provide fantastic value for cutting-edge earbud performance. If the deal price is too high for your budget, then the Apple AirPods 5 are still a good noise-cancelling option for $50 less.
