ASUS ROG prebuilt PC with RTX 5070 and 32GB of DDR5 hits 30-day low price with Newegg deal
Table of Contents
Newegg’s FantasTech sale is still in full swing, and there are some seriously good offers on gaming PCs. This ASUS ROG RTX 5070 prebuilt PC stands out, as it’s currently $200 off and coming in at $1,799.99, which is also its lowest price in 30 days. This is a great PC for the price for several reasons. In short, you’re getting top-end build quality, an RTX 5070, a Ryzen 7 AM5 processor, loads of DDR5 RAM, and excellent, but not overkill, cooling. It’s also an appealing build in a practical sense, boasting tool-less access for easy tweaking and cleaning, and it comes with an RGB keyboard and mouse, so all you need is a monitor to get started.

What we like about this ASUS ROG RTX 5070 gaming PC
Excellent for QHD gaming
You’ve got an RTX 5070 graphics card here with 12GB of GDDR7 VRAM, improved ray tracing and AI capabilities, and Blackwell features like DLSS 4.5 and MFG at your disposal. For QHD gaming, it’s ideal and makes a lot of sense from a price-to-performance perspective, especially since RTX 5070 TI PCs tend to easily hit $2,499.99 in my experience.
It’s processor makes sense in this build for the price
You’ve got a Ryzen 7 8700F here, which has 8 cores, 16 threads, a 5GHz boost clock, and 16MB L3 cache. This is quite commonly found in mid-tier RTX 5070 builds, as it provides solid performance for QHD gaming with decent multitasking performance, and since it’s on the AM5 socket, it gives you some wiggle room for upgrades, too. It’s a smart pick for keeping overall costs down, as it doesn’t require a huge AIO cooler to keep it working at its best.

Appropriate cooling system
As mentioned, this build doesn’t need a super hardcore cooling system, which would be overly specced for the CPU and drive the price much higher, too. Instead, you’ve got a quad-fan and air cooler setup, which is more than enough to keep this system stable even under heavy and sustained loads.
Loads of DDR5 is a big win
With 32GB, you’re getting way more headroom for asset-heavy titles, future releases, and multitasking, plus you’re saving yourself a potentially expensive upgrade in the future, too.
Style, but with a whole lot of substance
It’s undeniably ASUS ROG when it comes to design, boasting clean lines and an almost cyberpunk aesthetic. That being said, it’s also designed for optimum airflow and easy access, so it’s more than just great looks!
Who is this gaming PC for?
Primarily, this is a QHD gaming build, rather than a super high FPS FHD competitive gaming PC or a build that you’d use for heavy multitasking, streaming, and intensive creative workloads. For the price, it’s seriously good, and there’s al ot to be said about its overall build quality and design, too.
