Awesome AOC QD-OLED QHD gaming monitor crashes back to its best price again on Amazon
Table of Contents
If you’re on the hunt for a cracking OLED QHD gaming monitor for a great price, I’d say AOC is one of the first stops you should make on your search. The good news is that they still bring a lot to the table, especially if you’re after something primarily for gaming, rather than doubling up as a powerhouse workstation and productivity display. This AOC Agon Pro monitor is back at its best price again on Amazon, coming in at just $349.99. That’s a competitive price for a QD-OLED, QHD, 27-inch gaming monitor with up to a 280Hz refresh rate.
So who’s this monitor for? Well, as mentioned, I’d say it’s fairly one-dimensional (in a good way) and designed for those who want something speedy for competitive gaming that will make games look cinematic and lifelike at the same time. Its pricing puts it into the ‘budget-friendly OLED’ bracket, but I’d say this monitor could easily be paired with RTX 5070 Ti builds or similar.
What we like about this AOC Agon Pro 27-inch gaming monitor
Impressive QD-OLED display
A good measure of an OLED display is its contrast ratio, which is 1.5M:1, which is genuinely impressive, and its peak brightness of 1000 nits. This means you’re going to be getting pitch-black blacks and bright highlights, resulting in more atmospheric and cinematic visuals when gaming.

Outstanding color
It features 10-bit color, which basically means that color gradation looks much finer and smoother, and it has 98.5% DCI-P3 color coverage with Delta E<2 accuracy. With this color coverage and accuracy, this monitor isn’t too shabby for creative edits.
Up to 280Hz refresh rate
This is good, but not completely overkill for most QHD gaming setups, giving you plenty of headroom for competitive framerates, and with a very low 0.03ms response time, everything should look super smooth, too.
Excellent connectivity for the price
You can connect peripherals directly to this monitor instead of to your PC, which makes for a cleaner setup. On top of that, if you’re connected to two devices, there’s a PIP and PBP mode allowing to view displays from both at the same time.
Things to consider
If you want something that will be great for productivity and gaming PC/ laptop setups, I’d say it’s worth spending a touch more and finding options with a KVM switch and USB-C with around 65W PD minimum. This is going to make a world of difference if you’ve got a gaming and workstation setup.
