This limited-time Amazon deal just crashed this TCL 85 Inch Class QM6K Series TV down to $899.99, 18% off its list price, and it’s absolutely worth checking out while it’s still reduced. Read on for all the need-to-knows.
First off, this is a more affordable QD-mini LED TV from TCL, not a flagship model. What you’re getting, however, is a notable level-up in terms of picture quality to your typical LED/LCD TV. With 500 dimming zones, this TV has excellent control over its contrast and brightness, which is going to give you a more lifelike, cinematic viewing experience, but without the huge cost of a top-tier mini-LED or OLED.

Speaking of cinematic, obviously this TV is sized for a home theatre-like experience, and the good news is that it has very extensive HDR support and compatibility to help showcase movies and shows at their best. Notably, it supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+, meaning it can adjust its settings dynamically, even scene-by-scene, in movies for the best HDR presentation.

When it comes to performance, this TV is actually a beast for gaming on both high-end PCs and consoles. It can support 144Hz at 4K and, importantly, features FreeSync Premium Pro, which helps reduce screen tearing and stutter. On top of that, it has ALLM, which automatically detects when you’re gaming and reduces input lag accordingly.
Those are really the main things you need to know about this TV. It’s an affordable mini-LED option which packs a sprinkling of premium features and is brilliant for gaming. And for well under $1,000 at this size, I think it’s going to be seriously hard to pass up.
