The 16″ display is also very eye-catching as it boasts a 2.5K resolution with a whopping 300Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. The upgrade limit for the RAM and SSD is also impressive, as you can really kit out this laptop for heavy processing, and the large 80Wh battery keeps it firing for hours on end. What we really liked about this offering was the strong focus on cooling that also allows a total power release of 180W, which comes in handy during sustained loads.
So, this is truly a decked-out gaming laptop, and that is generally what we’ve seen with Thunderobot offerings. This feature-rich gaming laptop will set you back $1,599 with this offer, but there are only 4 units left in stock, so if this has caught your attention, we recommend you move fast.

Why the Radiant 16S caught our attention
Premium Ryzen processor paired with the RTX 5060
The Ryzen 9 7945HX is one of the best processors in the mobile CPU market as it enters the scene guns blazing with its 16-core and 32-thread design, 5.4GHz boost clock speed, 64MB L3 cache, and 55W TDP. This chip is designed to take down tough processes with a smile on its face, and the fact that it does that with such a low TDP is amazing. This will ensure that you can have different apps and processes running in parallel without the performance taking a hit.
Complementing this processor is the RTX 5060, which might seem underpowered in front of it, but it is based on the latest NVIDIA architecture and has plenty of weapons in its arsenal. GPU-intensive tasks such as rendering, editing, AI, etc are handled by this card. DLSS 4.5 and MFG allow it to punch above its weight class, and it has a full release of 100W, which means it can fight its way through rough patches with ease.
Out-of-this-world display
The 16″ display of this gaming laptop has a 2560 x 1600 resolution and a 300Hz refresh rate. This setup gives it a 16:10 aspect ratio, as the extra pixels make the screen bigger. Also, the refresh rate is perfect for competitive gameplay, as it’ll ensure there is no ghosting or tearing, and the output is responsive with solid colors, as the 100% DCI-P3 ensures that. Besides that, it can also be used to tackle professional color grading and editing tasks with accurate and life-like results, allowing you to design and edit to cater to different devices and media with full confidence.
Robust battery life
A powerful gaming laptop also needs a heavy-duty battery, and the 80Wh battery is a perfect fit. This will keep this laptop firing throughout the day, but keep in mind that the battery life depends on what you’re doing, brightness, keyboard backlight, etc. So, if you’re running Adobe Premiere Pro with 100% screen brightness and performance mode, the battery won’t last as long. Connect the charger to tackle heavy workflows, as that will also allow you to unleash its full 180W release, though you might need to work through the Control Center to do that.
Powerful cooling
This gaming laptop features a wind-driven cooling system. This is made up of ultra-thin wind blade silent fans and a 3D thermal structure. These components boost the airflow while keeping the noise at a minimum and promoting very efficient heat dissipation away from the components, allowing them to operate in optimal conditions.
