Why this gaming laptop caught our attention
A display that drives seamless gaming and productivity
One of the most impressive aspects of this gaming laptop is the stunning display. The 16″ display has a 300Hz refresh rate, 2560 x 1600 resolution, 500 nits peak brightness, and a wide color gamut coverage. The resolution means that it has a 16:10 aspect ratio, which makes the screen more spacious, allowing you to see more of the battlefield and work without it feeling cramped. On top of that, the color accuracy and gamut coverage make it suitable for color grading and editing at a professional level.

The Ryzen 9 7945HX and RTX 5060 combination is lethal
This processor is a top-of-the-line offering with a high core and thread count of 16 and 32, respectively, but keeps the power draw at a low 55W. This is great as laptops need as much energy efficiency as they can get. What it means in terms of performance is that this beast was designed to deliver next-level processing while on the go, so you can easily handle tasks like 3D modeling, encoding, compilation, compression, and more.
When you add the RTX 5060 to it, it seems underpowered, but it is one of the latest offerings, which comes with all the new features from NVIDIA. For example, Studio helps streamline creative workflows while DLSS and MFG allow it to punch above its weight class, which might be needed as the 5060 can’t touch 300 FPS at 1600p without some help, depending on the title. So, it is more than up for the job and should keep the work flowing without hurdles.
Long-lasting battery, plenty of overhead for upgrades, and robust cooling
The 80Wh battery was great to see, as that should give it plenty of juice to last throughout the day, but that also depends on what you’re using it for, screen brightness, keyboard lighting, and more. On the other hand, it can accommodate up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and a 4TB SSD, which is amazing and will future-proof this gaming laptop.
That being said, cooling is something that can’t be compromised, as it brings the entire system down if it is lacking. The wind-driven cooling system allows a full release of 180W and uses a re-engineered 3D thermal structure and wind blade silent fans to achieve low temperatures and low system noise.
