Excellent 18″ Acer Predator RTX 5070 Ti, 9 275HX gaming laptop sees $360 off its list price at Newegg
Table of Contents
This brilliant Acer Predator Helios Neo 18 AI gaming laptop is now $360 off at Newegg and comes in at $1,999.99. Now that’s a pretty compelling price considering what you’re getting here. First off, it’s an RTX 5070 Ti laptop, so that means you’ve got a mobile GPU with 12GB of GDDR7 VRAM that’s brilliant for 1440p/1600p gaming at high settings, wth enough raw power to smash through a wide range of creative tasks with ease. That’s paired with a very high-end Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, which is a very strong choice for gaming, heavy multitasking, and handling creative workflows. Its screen is a 240Hz WQXGA display, and it’s on the larger side, coming in at 18 inches. Ideal for fast-paced, super-smooth gaming, but also big enough to provide enough breathing room for multiple windows or creative app UIs and on-screen tools. DDR5 and storage are decent but slightly scaled back to 16GB and 1TB. Good for gaming and enough storage for most people, and it helps keep initial spend down, too.
Is this the right gaming laptop for you, though? It’s a powerful all-rounder for gaming on the go, a notable step up from a typical RTX 5070 gaming laptop, but not much more expensive. I’d go for this laptop at its current price if I were looking for something for QHD/QHD+ gaming on the go, streaming, video editing, working in 3D, and heavier multitasking usage. For under $2,000, I think it’s a pretty compelling offer.

One of the best price-to-performance ratio mobile GPUs
With 4GB more VRAM than the RTX 5070 mobile and more raw performance, alongside a wide range of generational improvements and exclusive Blackwell features, this graphics card is ideal for gaming and creating on the go.
Excellent display for gaming with creator-friendly color
240Hz and WQXGA align well with this configuration’s capabilities, and it even features 100% DCI-P3 color for critical editing work, too.
Things to consider before buying
This laptop is excellent across the board; however, if you’re looking for something that’ll perhaps be even better for creative work in particular, I’d say it’s worth looking at high-end mini-LED or OLED displays. These are going to be a bit better for HDR performance, too, which can be useful if you’re working in video editing for film, for example. Check out the ASUS ROG Strix lineup, as they have Nebula displays, which are essentially mini-LEDs. HP Omen laptops can also have OLED screens in some configurations, and they’re worth taking a look at, too.
