It gets better when you add the RTX 5070, as it brings 8GB of dedicated GDDR7 VRAM to this equation. This gives the entire system more efficiency, and GPU-intensive workflows can be handled without choking up the pipeline or causing a bottleneck. Local AI models and heavy textures can be loaded for faster processing, while DLSS will increase gaming performance and Studio will help smooth out creative processes. Overall, this combination is the driving force of this gaming laptop and will keep it firing through various environments.
Well-rounded display
With a 16″ display that has a QHD+ resolution (2560 x 1600) and a 240Hz refresh rate, you can be sure that you’ll have plenty of space for gaming and work. The RTX 5070 can handle this resolution very easily and churn out high FPS in AAA titles, and even if a game is giving it some trouble, you have DLSS on your side. Other than that, the 16:10 aspect ratio will provide the screen with more space, making it much more comfortable to use and for overall viewing.
It also comes with low blue light technology that reduces the level of blue light emitted, putting less strain on your eyes during extended gaming and working sessions. Besides that, anti-glare makes it a good fit for bright rooms and outdoors, while the 100% DCI-P3 coverage is ideal for video editing and other creative processes.
Take it into a higher gear with Unleashed mode and Omen Tempest cooling
Unleashed Mode in HP gaming laptops provides the CPU and GPU with the maximum amount of power possible, and in this model you’ll get a 170W release. This will allow these components to push out amazing performance across the board and handle any demanding task much more efficiently. There are built-in safeguards that will protect the hardware from being damaged, so you won’t have to worry.
To take care of the heat being generated, Omen Tempest cooling comes into play. It has dual fans with a heatsink that moves the heat away from core components. The fans are also self-cleaning, meaning dust buildup won’t impact their RPM and performance and will keep pushing a solid amount of air through the chassis. This cooling system complements the Unleashed mode perfectly.
