STORMCRAFT Phantom Gaming PC (RTX 5080, Ultra 7 270K Plus)
In use, the RTX 5080 should provide a major uplift for visually demanding games, especially when ray tracing, DLSS 4.5, and higher resolutions are involved. The Core Ultra 7 270K Plus should help keep performance smooth in games that lean heavily on CPU throughput, while the 32GB DDR5 memory prevents the system from feeling constrained during multitasking. The 2TB NVMe SSD keeps load times fast, and the 360mm AIO cooling solution should help maintain consistent performance during longer sessions.
What we like about the STORMCRAFT Gaming PC PHANTOM RTX 5080
RTX 5080 gives the system true high-end gaming power
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 16GB is the key upgrade over the RTX 5070 Ti version of this build. It is aimed at users who want stronger 4K gaming performance, better ray-tracing headroom, and more AI acceleration for supported games and creative apps. With 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM, it has the memory capacity and bandwidth profile expected from a high-end current-generation GPU. That makes it a better choice for demanding AAA titles, heavy texture packs, high-refresh 1440p, and more serious 4K gaming.

Core Ultra 7 270K Plus keeps the GPU well fed
Pairing the RTX 5080 with the Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus gives the system a strong CPU platform. The 24-core processor, 36MB L3 cache, and high clock speeds help keep frame rates stable in CPU-heavy games and multitasking-heavy scenarios. It should be particularly useful for users who stream, record gameplay, or run productivity tools alongside games. The CPU also fits well with the system’s AI-ready positioning, giving it more flexibility beyond just gaming.
Z890 platform and DDR5 memory give it a modern base
The Z890 P DDR5 Wi-Fi PRO motherboard gives this build a more premium platform than a basic budget board. Combined with 32GB DDR5 memory, it provides a strong foundation for current hardware and future upgrades. The DDR5 6000MHz memory speed is a good match for this performance class, helping the system feel responsive in games, desktop use, and content creation workloads. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support also make the system easier to place without relying exclusively on wired peripherals or networking.
2TB Gen4 NVMe SSD is a better fit for a high-end machine
A 2TB Gen4 NVMe SSD is exactly what you want in a system at this level. Large AAA games, recorded footage, project files, and software libraries can quickly overwhelm a smaller drive, so the extra capacity is genuinely useful. The Gen4 interface also supports fast read and write speeds, which helps with boot times, file transfers, game loading, and asset-heavy creative workloads. It makes the system feel more complete out of the box.
360mm AIO, 850W Gold PSU, and seven-fan airflow are well matched
The 360mm AIO liquid cooler helps control CPU thermals, while the 850W 80+ Gold PSU gives the RTX 5080 build a stable power foundation. The seven ARGB fans and front-mounted PSU case design should improve airflow through the system while keeping the build visually clean. That matters because high-end components need sustained cooling to hold boost clocks over long gaming sessions. The tempered glass chassis also gives the system a premium showcase-style appearance.
Who’s this RTX 5080 gaming PC deal suitable for?
This PC is best for gamers who want a high-end prebuilt capable of strong 4K performance and high-refresh 1440p gaming. It also suits streamers, creators, and AI-tool users who want a powerful NVIDIA GPU with modern Tensor Core acceleration. Compared with the RTX 5070 Ti configuration, this RTX 5080 version is better for users who want more long-term GPU headroom and are likely to play the most demanding games at higher settings.
