What we think of the Samsung S95D
The S95D is an impressive TV no matter which way you look at it, the improved QD-OLED display boosts brightness up to 3000 nits, a massive leap vs the S95C which boasts brightness up to 2000 nits. The complaint about OLEDs has always been their lack of brightness due to their lack of backlighting, making them susceptible to screen glare and looking washed out in well-lit rooms. Boosting the brightness like this will go a long way to stopping this. The other big change has been the introduction of an anti-glare display that limits reflections by up to 70%.
Additionally, the lifespan of OLED panels has been a worry due to their tendency to burn out. The inclusion of new ‘Quantum Enhancer’ technology diagnoses where points on the display might be feeling excess fatigue and works against this. Overall it’s an improvement on what was already a top TV, so if you’re looking for the best, you can’t go wrong.
Is this a good Samsung TV deal?
