Table of Contents
For gamers, furniture can be an afterthought, but this may be your sign to take your sitting seriously. Comfort and posture are key for gaming, so a new GTPlayer Gaming Chair offer has our attention. The Amazon deal features the $130 chair, which has a pocket spring cushion and considered back support, and you can save $20.85 (16%) to get the comfy seat for $109.14. That’s not a bad investment if you’re a serious gamer. Here’s why we’d pick it.

Why we’d pick the GTPlayer Gaming Chair
A good value option
At the deal price, we’d consider the GTPlayer chair a clear upgrade over…say, a seat taken from elsewhere in your home. For $109, you’re getting a chair that Amazon reviewers largely describe as comfortable and good quality, when more expensive alternatives can cost several times as much. Amazon reviewers rate the chair 4.3 out of 5 stars, and it has a couple of specific features we like.
Support and comfort
GTPlayer has engineered the seat with independent pocket springs to provide a sofa-like sitting experience. That balance of comfort and support is what you need during a long gaming session or just taking in some content. Plus, the chair backrest is based on an ergonomic design to support your back, including the lower lumbar spine and the scapulae.

Interlocking armrests
Happily, there’s no need for the awkward adjustment of this chair’s armrests. That’s because the GTPlayer chair features interlocking armrests that automatically adjust when the backrest angle changes. That means you get sustained elbow support without faffing with armrest heights (something we know well and greatly dislike).
What to consider before you buy
It’s impossible to make the perfect gaming chair for everyone, and at a lower cost, the materials and build may not match more expensive options (for example, Secretlab). However, at the deal price (and given the positive sentiment that Amazon reviewers display) we think this is a good option for a first gaming chair. The caveat is that if you’re larger or taller than average, a Big and Tall option may suit you best.
