This makes it very efficient, which is crucial in a laptop as you don’t want any component pulling a lot of power as that’ll drain the battery quickly. However, when you’re gaming and connected with the charger, the CPU should be provided with all the power it wants to deal with the task at hand.
The RTX 5060 is also a great GPU and while it might not get the attention due to its 8GB VRAM, the gaming performance can’t be denied. This is especially true when it has DLSS 4 and MFG in its arsenal. Since the display has a 1200p resolution, it shouldn’t even made the RTX 5060 sweat and you can push it further by connecting it to an external monitor.
As for productivity, the new architecture and memory type should enable it to efficienly handle tasks like Photoshop, color grading, video editing, and rendering but pushing it for extreme performance will see it run into its performance ceiling quick.
Great display for competitive gaming
The 16″ display of this gaming machine has a 1920 x 1200 resolution, which gives it a 16:10 aspect ratio. Since there are more pixels, the display looks and feels more spacious which can be crucial for work and gaming as you get to see more data and the battefield, respectively. It has a 100% sRGB coverage, meaning that during color grading work or editing, you shouldn’t run into issues and get the exact colors you want.
Last but not least, the 180Hz refresh rate makes it ideal for fast paced games like The Finals, CS2, DOTA 2, and more. These titles benefit from having a high framerate and since the RTX 5060 can easily handle 1200p, you should be able to hit more than 180FPS in many of these titles.
Peripherals are a great addition
Excellent value is added to this deal not because of the components, connectivitiy options, or the discount but due to the accompanying gaming mouse and headset. The gaming mouse has multiple buttons and you can set shortcuts as you want or according to the title you’re playing to give you a competitive advantage. Besides that, the gaming headset should allow you to hear footsteps, utilities being used, and other cues more clearly, ensuring that no one gets a drop on you.
Why you should buy this gaming laptop
The value for money with this gaming laptop is amazing as you’re getting a complete package. A laptop, a gaming mouse, and a headset. This is everything you’ll need to get started gaming right away and besides that, it also packs a decent punch to handle non-gaming workflows. Would we recommned it for extreme performance? No, but for everyday use and handling demanding tasks on the move, we think this is a solid offering.
