What makes this HP Omen 16 Slim standout from the crowd
QHD+ screen with 240Hz refresh rate
Most RTX 5060 laptops have FHD or FHD+ screens, which is completely fine for the RTX 5060 mobile. However, having QHD+ gives you that extra bit of picture clarity for both gaming and non-gaming tasks. It’s arguably most beneficial for designers and content creators looking to make finer and more detailed edits.

A solid graphics card for gaming and productivity
The RTX 5060 may be an entry-level card, but its 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM, 4th-gen ray tracing cores, and 5th-gen tensor cores allow it to punch above its weight. That’s even more so with features like DLSS and MFG, which will help if you want to game at higher resolutions like 1600p. It’s also a capable card at handling most creative workflows, especially those that benefit from GPU and AI acceleration.
High-spec processor
This configuration opts for a much higher-end CPU than what you’d typically find with an RTX 5060 laptop. In this case, the Intel Ultra 9-285H packs 16 cores, 16 threads, a 24MB L3 cache, and a 5.4 GHz boost clock speed. Its higher core count, in particular, makes it far better suited to more CPU-intensive tasks, like multitasking, exporting, rendering, and more.
Loads of DDR5 RAM for smoother performance across the board
With 32GB, you’re getting more than enough to help improve gaming performance and give you enough headroom for future, more demanding releases. In addition, this amount of RAM can come in handy when working on complex creative projects, streaming, or running loads of applications at the same time.
