Why you should check out this gaming laptop
The CPU and GPU pair together to deliver excellence
The Core Ultra 9 285H is an energy-efficient high-end processor with 16 cores and threads with a 5.4GHz boost clock speed. At max, it can consume 115W, which isn’t a lot, but with the Arrow Lake architecture powering it, its multi-threaded performance should allow it to tackle resource-intensive workflows without the overall system breaking down. On top of that, combined with the RTX 5070, graphical and creative tasks experience a good boost as well, such as in gaming, editing, rendering, and more.

Display specifications put it out there for competitive gaming
The 16″ display with a 1920 x 1200 resolution has anti-glare functionality, making it good for bright rooms or if you’re using it outdoors. That being said, 12:00 p.m. is very easy for the RTX 5070 to handle, so even in titles like Cyberpunk 2077, you should see high FPS resulting in smooth gameplay. Its 144Hz refresh rate is a sweetspot for competitive gameplay, and even if some titles give you trouble if you enable ray tracing, you’ve got DLSS 4 and MFG to save the day, if it supports these technologies.
WiFi 6E ensures a concrete online experience
We liked that it at least has WiFi 6E, which means that you can connect this gaming laptop to a 6GHz band. For that, you’ll need a WiFi 6E router, but with the speed and bandwidth of this frequency, 4K streaming, online gaming, meetings, and more shouldn’t be plagued with buffering or lag. This gives you competitive advantage in gaming as well since low latency means you get the most up to date output allowing you to react quickly.
