The HP Omen AI Pro gaming laptop was spotted on Amazon with a decent 5% price cut. The original price tag was $2,299 but with this deal it’ll cost you $2,179. This is a heavy price tag but considering the hardware it has under the hood, we think the price is justified. It comes with the Ryzen AI 9 365, RTX 5070, and boasts a whopping 64GB DDR5 RAM.

This makes it an excellent option to tackle resource-heavy workflows such as 4K video editing and 3D rendering and gaming should be a breeze as well. To add more value to this deal, a Thunderobot 7-in-1 USB-C hub is also part of the package but there are only 10 units left in stock. So, if you’re interested in this gaming laptop you better move fast.

What we liked about this gaming laptop

This HP gaming laptop has a powerful processor and graphics card under the hood. The Ryzen AI 9 365 is made for heavy processing as it has 10 core, 20 threads, and a boost clock speed of 5GHz. So, it should provide excellent efficiency and performance across the board and this is further improved by the Radeon 880M integrated graphics and an NPU capable of up to 50 TOPS.

So, it isn’t just your everyday tasks that this processor can handle but graphically demanding and AI tasks should be dealt with great efficiency as well. When you add the RTX 5070 in this equation, it makes for a powerful pairing that can handle 4K video editing, 3D rendering, media encoding, and other demanding tasks with ease.

The 64GB DDR5 RAM also plays a huge role in the performance of this gaming laptop as there more memory there is, the more tasks you can open in parallel without the efficiency taking a hit. However, even for a single application that requires a lot of RAM, a processing should be a smoother and better as well.

The downside of this gaming laptop is the 17.3″ display which has an FHD resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate. Gaming at this resolution should be a piece of cake for the RTX 5070 and this GPU is an overkill for it. So, to make the most of it, we would recommend turning on ray tracing to increase the graphics quality significantly.
