This iBuyPower PC is a great example of a more complete and well-rounded RTX 5060 prebuild, and it’s now $200 off its list price at Newegg. Coming in at a fairly weighty $1,399.99, it’s definitely not the cheapest RTX 500 prebuild out there, but if you’re after something with more RAM on a more future-facing AM5 platform, that’s arguably better positioned for future game releases, then it could make a lot of sense.

Headline specs here are an RTX 5060 8GB, Ryzen 7 8700F processor, 32GB of DDR5, and a 1TB SSD. As always, read on for a closer look at what this configuration brings to the table, some things we’d say are worth considering before buying, and more of our top gaming PC deals.

What we like about this iBuyPower Element gaming PC

Smart AM5 CPU pick for the RTX 5060

The Ryzen 7 8700F isn’t a processor that’s completely overkill for the RTX 5060, but still packs a 8 cores, 16 threads, and a 5GHz boost clock speed. Its L3 cache is more modest, at 16MB, but for gaming it should keep up comfortably with the RTX 5060 when playing in FHD. Its core count is also not bad for creative work and multitasking, especially if it’s not super heavy-duty.

RTX 5060 brings Blackwell features into the mix

With 5th-gen tensor cores, 4th-gen ray tracing cores, and even faster GDDR7, the RTX 5060 is a punch grpahics card for FHD gaming, and can even handle QHD with the right settings. MFG helps it punch above its weight, too.

More RAM than your lower-end RTX 5060 builds

It’s not uncommon to see 16GB of DDR4 in RTX 5060 PCs around the $1,100 mark, which is fine for most people. That being said, having 32GB of DDR5 is a big win when it comes to playing more demanding games, and it offers up more headroom for multitasking, and various creative workflows, too.

Sensible cooling solution and PSU

With this configuration you don’t need an absolute beastly AIO liquid CPU cooler and more fans than you can count, so its tower air cooler is a smart pick here. Similarly, it has a 600W 80+ Gold PSU, which is more than adequate for the RTX 5060 and Ryzen 7 8700F.

Things to consider before buying

At this price point, you may want to consider looking into some RTX 5070 prebuilds, as it’s knocking on the door on entry-level options. The Ryzen 7 8700F is often found paired with RTX 5070 graphics cards in these builds, too, but to keep costs closer to $1,500, you’ll likely have to sacrifice a bit of DDR5.

I’d also suggest checking out Stormcraft gaming PCs right now on Newegg, as I’m seeing a load of deals on its prebuilds. They’re pretty impressive, and excellent value. Take a look at our top gaming PC deals below to see what’s currently out there.
