Table of Contents
This excellent Samsung 32-inch Odyssey G7 is still at its lowest price ever on Amazon: $749.99, 32% off its list price. This monitor makes for a very strong, versatile pick for those looking for the best of both worlds when it comes to gaming. With dual-mode resolution and OLED, you get a 4K, 165Hz monitor for slower-paced, cinematic gameplay at high settings, and a speedy 330Hz FHD display for competitive play. Not only that, but as its larger 32-inch OLED, it also triples up as a solid creative display, with loads of room for multiple windows and various application UIs, plus it’s Pantone Validated and has 98.5% DCI-P3 color, too.
Samsung 32″ Odyssey OLED G7 (G73SH) Gaming Monitor
What we like about this Samsung 32-inch Odyssey OLED G7
Dual mode resolution unlocks serious versatility
Being able to switch between 4K and FHD is great for anyone who doesn’t fancy buying two monitors for different types of usage. It’s going to be ideal if you want to play slower-paced, story-driven titles some of the time, then switch it up to fast-paced competitive games at the drop of a hat.
OLED-standard contrast
OLEDs are hard to beat when it comes to contrast, as they can literally turn off their pixels to show dark areas. It makes everything far more realistic and atmospheric.

Glossy coating enhances its OLED characteristics further
Anti-glare coatings can actually produce a hazy effect on monitors, but this does the opposite. Instead, colors and contrast are going to look even better, especially in lower-light environments.
FreeSync Premium Pro is a win for HDR gaming
The Pro version of FreeSync is designed to reduce latency when gaming in HDR, in addition to reducing screen tearing and stutter for an overall smoother experience.
Excellent color for gaming, movies, and design work
Being Pantone Validated and having 98.5% DCI-P3 color is a great combination for making colors look more natural and true to life, and giving you much more of a ‘what you see is what you get’ experience when doing creative edits.
Is this deal right for you?
For the price, this pretty much ticks all the boxes for gaming and would pair very well with a higher-end PC. I’d say for creative work, it’s solid, but if you’re a professional, I’d lean more towards purchasing a separate ASUS ProArt display, or something similar alongside this. For content creators and streamers, this monitor makes a lot of sense, though.
