What we liked about this gaming laptop

The i7-14700HX handles heavy processing well

This processor has a high core and thread count and is perfect for challenging situations, for a good outcome. It can go up to 157W with a 5.5GHz boost clock speed, meaning you can really push it when it comes to productivity, such as rendering, editing, compilation, and more. However, with such processing power, also comes plenty of heat, but the cooling design of this gaming laptop should take care of that.

1080p gaming is right up the RTX 5050’s alley

The 1080p display of this gaming laptop with a 144Hz refresh rate is a good decision given the capabilities of the RTX 5050. While this GPU can be pushed for 1440p, FHD is more suited for it, and you’ll have a much better time gaming. So, natively, it shouldn’t cause any issues, but you’ll also have AI upscaling technologies to streamline the output; however, when it comes to productivity, the output you get is what you get because you can’t increase the core count or the VRAM.

Hyperchamber cooling keeps it running in optimal condition

Lenovo’s Hyperchamber cooling combines turbo fans and copper heatpipes for the best heat dissipation. You can change the mode by pressing “FN+Q” depending on whether you’re working or gaming, and you also have the AI Engine+ by your side to ensure a smooth and cool operation.
