Decent hardware for gaming and work
The Ryzen 7 250 is an 8-core and 16-thread mobile processor, which comes with Radeon 780M integrated graphics and an NPU with up to 16 TOPS. So, on its own, it offers very decent punching power that will keep everyday workflows related to content creation and AI flowing smoothly. Paired with this CPU is the RTX 5050, which features 8GB GDDR7 VRAM and all the technology that Blackwell is famous for. This means you’ll get DLSS 4.5 and MFG to enhance gaming performance, and Studio drivers to help with content creation. So, you can tackle various workflows with ease, and even if a game is graphically demanding, you can leverage upscaling to get more FPS even at higher graphical settings.
Outstanding upgrade potential
The 32GB DDR5 RAM and 1TB SSD are great options for a modern gaming laptop, as it gives you plenty of headroom to run various apps in parallel without hitting the memory ceiling. This gives the laptop great efficiency, as the pipeline doesn’t get congested, and you also have enough space for multiple AAA games alongside the operating system. However, you can take the specs up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and 4TB SSD, which is overkill for this setup but will keep this gaming laptop relevant for years to come.
144Hz display for smooth gameplay
The RTX 5050 pairs perfectly with this 15.6″ display of this gaming laptop that has a 144Hz refresh rate and a FHD resolution. This resolution is where the RTX 5050 shines, and you can run any modern title at this resolution and get high FPS. Competitive gaming is part of the conversation as well, and if you run into issues, you can use DLSS and Reflex 2 to give you an edge.
Large battery with quick charge support
The components of this gaming laptop are very energy efficient and strain the 80Wh battery, but for productivity and hardcore gaming, connecting the 254W charger is recommended. That being said, the support for super rapid charge can bring it up from 0% to 80% in 30 minutes, while double the time will bring it up to 100%. This will keep you gaming and flowing without hassle and keep you at the top of your game.
