What you should know about this monitor
- QD-OLED: A hybrid technology that combines the brightness of QLED with the contrast of OLED. It’s found in only the top gaming monitors on the market and provides stunning picture quality, brightness, color, and contrast. This all adds up to a much more realistic looking image – ideal for gaming, but also great for watching content and creative work.
- Super high refresh rate: This monitor is 360hz, which means its more than capable of handling 240fps plus gaming. That’s ideal if you play competitively, but also great if you’ve got a high-end graphics card (like a 50-series) that can push to very high fps with DLSS 4 and multi frame generation at 1440p.
- Fast response time: Lower than usual response time, coming in at 0.03ms. This means you’ll be unlikely to see any ghosting, even when things are moving incredibly fast.
- Anti-glare: Ideal for bright rooms, and not always the norm with OLED-based monitors, some of which are actually glossy.
- Heat protection: QD-OLED displays have to have some level of protection to reduce chances of burn in, which was a real concern for OLED displays a few years back. This monitor has a host of features that reduce that chance, such as a dynamic cooling system, logo and taskbar detection, and screen saver. All in all, it’s very well protected against burn in, so you can use it without having to worry.

Is this deal for you?
Just over $780 for a QD-OLED monitor with QHD resolution, 360hz refresh rate, and a whole host of anti-burn in protection…from one of the leading brands in the space. In my opinion, that’s a great deal, where you’re getting a lot of bang for your buck.
Is it for you? Well, it of course depends on your budget, but the thing with this monitor is that its incredibly versatile and sort of ticks all the boxes. The only thing it doesn’t do, is 4K, but realistically that’s not a big deal for a number of reasons. Firstly, most people game in 1440p, as it allows for higher fps and you don’t need a super high-end graphics card to do so. Secondly, at this size of 27″, QHD resolution looks great as its not too stretched out.
And then there’s the design, which is just stunning…I think for the price it’s a great deal for anyone looking for a more premium monitor for less that delivers on looks and well as performance.
