If you’re planning on building a gaming PC but want to keep it as cost-effective as possible, we would recommend going for a bundle such as this Micro Center’s Ryzen 5 7600X3D and ASUS B650E Max motherboard. This is a very decent stepping stone onto the AM5 platform and gives you solid components to base the rest of your build around. For many, the 7600X3D is the best value X3D processor, and the B650E mobo is perfect for it, as it’ll help unleash its full potential.

What makes this offer better is that it is at its lowest price in 30 days and will only cost you $389.99. There are only 6 units left in stock, so be sure to secure one before it runs out. That being said, while the 7600X3D isn’t the best gaming processor like the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, it is more than able to get the job done and deliver an amazing gaming experience.

MICRO CENTER Ryzen 5 7600X3D CPU Processor Bundle with ASUS B650E MAX Gaming WiFi

AM5 ATX Motherboard (DDR5, PCIe 5.0, 3X M.2, Wi-Fi 6E)

What you’ll get with this bundle

Ryzen 5 7600X3D

The Ryzen 5 7600X3D has 6 cores and 12 threads, the same setup you’ll find on the Ryzen 5 7600X, but where things take a turn is that it has a massive 96MB L3 cache, which gives it amazing gaming performance. You’ll find plenty of reviews online in which this processor is not only keeping up with the Ryzen 7 7800X3D but also outperforming it at 1080p, which is nothing short of incredible. However, productivity was a mixed bag, as it kept up with the 7600X but ultimately fell a bit short and couldn’t move past it, which isn’t surprising or unexpected.

ASUS B650E Max Gaming WiFi

This motherboard comes with an 8+2+1 power phase design, which allows it to deliver as much power as the 7600X3D wants, enabling it to unleash its full potential. VRMs are like filters that stabilize and clean the power coming from the PSU before it reaches the processors. A clean and stable supply allows the CPU to keep doing what it is best at, and the rest of the filters, such as the 2 and 1, are for memory and other important components.

Other than that, you’ll get PCIe 5.0 connectivity via the x16 slot, meaning you can pair any of the best GPUs for excellent gaming performance. This slot features the reinforced SafeSlot design, catering to the weight of modern GPUs. Besides that, the first M.2 slot supports PCIe 5.0 x4, meaning you can build a PC with a high-end Gen5 SSD for quick boot, load, and access times.

It also offers four DIMM slots, which give it a total capacity of 256GB DDR5 RAM with speeds of up to 8,000 MT/s. This is insane and not really practical, but having more overhead is always better. That being said, we would recommend pairing it with a 6,000MHz 32GB memory kit, as that is considered to be the sweet spot for Ryzen processors and drives optimal performance.
