This outstanding MSI 27-inch OLED gaming monitor is now at its lowest price in 30 days at Newegg, and it’s seriously S-tier.
MSI 27 inch QHD 500Hz OLED gaming monitor
It’s a QD-OLED, 500Hz display with FreeSync Premium Pro, and QHD resolution, and it’s earned two very impressive VESA certifications due to its top-tier HDR performance and extremely low motion blur. At 500Hz, this monitor is very much designed for competitive gaming and esports, but it’s also going to be great at showcasing a wide range of games at their best, too.
Coming in at $649.99, it’s fairly expensive, but not that much more than your typical QHD 360Hz OLED from my experience. Even if you don’t use all 500Hz initially, this monitor is a smart pick if you want something that can accommodate PC upgrades well into the future.

What we like about this MSI 27-inch 500Hz gaming monitor
Its 3rd-gen QD-OLED panel is a cut above the rest
Most good OLED gaming monitors have VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certifications, but this one has a True Black 500 rating, which is even better. What this means is that you’re getting notably impressive HDR performance, with outstanding contrast, higher-than-average peak brightness, and superb color.
Incredibly low motion blur for fast-paced gaming
Again, this monitor’s VESA ClearMR rating is higher than even some of the very best gaming monitors on the market, coming in at 21000. This essentially means that gameplay can be at very high framerates, and you’ll still be able to see everything super clearly.
500Hz and 0.03ms response time is seriously impressive
This is a powerful combination for high fps gaming with incredibly low motion blur and ghosting. If you’re looking for something for competitive gaming, and your PC is up to it, this monitor is up there with the best.
Burn-in and overheating protection for peace of mind
You’ve got a large graphene film and custom heatsinks to keep temperatures under control even with heavy, sustained use, and a comprehensive burn-in protection suite in the form of MSI OLED Care 2.0, which is designed to detect issues, automatically adjust settings, and maintain this monitor’s overall health.
Its impressively accurate color is fantastic for content creators
If you’re a video editor, in particular, this monitor is going to be brilliant for you, as it has Delta E<2 color accuracy, which will allow you to make precise edits in line with modern film industry standards.
Who should buy this monitor?
This monitor is primarily designed with competitive gaming in mind. Still, it’s also an outstanding display in its own right, capable of showcasing more cinematic, atmospheric titles at ultra settings at their very best. If you’re looking for a do-it-all monitor to pair with a high-end 1440p gaming PC, then it makes a lot of sense for the money.
