This impressive MSI 360Hz QD-OLED gaming monitor is now down to its best price in 30 days over at Newegg, and there are extra savings to be had, too.

On top of its initial $60 discount, you can get a further $90 off when you use promo code FPSF28 at checkout, which brings its price down from $649.99 to $499.99. That’s a seriously impressive price for a high-end monitor like this one.

This monitor is designed for powerful QHD gaming PC builds and for those who want a display that can be used for both high refresh rate gaming and showcase graphically impressive titles at their best. For the price, it ticks a lot of boxes and is a great option to go for while it’s still reduced.

What we like about this MSI MAG QD-OLED gaming monitor

High-end gaming performance ideal for competitive play

This monitor features a 360Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time, which will allow you to game at up to 360fps in QHD with very minimal motion blur and ghosting.

Sweet spot size and resolution ratio

At 1440p and 27 inches, pixel density is kept high, resulting in crisp and clear picture quality, without the added expense of 4K. It’s also ideally sized for most types of games and, importantly, not too large that it puts you at a disadvantage in most reflex-based competitive titles.

Its QD-OLED display is a game-changer

More graphically impressive games played in HDR are going to shine with this type of monitor, as its QD-OLED display is capable of producing extremely dark black, bright highlights, and accurate, lifelike color. For more immersive titles, this is the type of monitor that’s going to showcase them at their best.

Extensive burn-in protection

You’ve got MSI’s OLED Care 2.0 suite here, which includes a wide range of features designed to predict and detect potential burn-in causes, and automatically adjust settings before they can become an issue. Features like taskbar and logo detection, and pixel shift are seriously impressive, and MSI throws in a 3-year warranty for extra peace of mind.

Should you get this monitor now?

Even though the initial discount is fairly modest, with the extra promo code savings and the fact that it’s at its lowest price in 30 days, I’d say it’s worth going for.

Is it good value for money?

Without the promo code, it’s decent, but with the extra savings dropping it below $500, it’s very competitive for a 360Hz, 1440p QD-OLED monitor. These can easily hit $600 in most cases, and the price would be justified in my opinion, too.

Things to consider

The price of these monitors drops substantially when you go lower on the refresh rate, so if you are looking for something that’s going to run about $100 cheaper, then I’d highly suggest checking out MSI’s 240Hz options instead. Some of the best bang for your buck OLEDs, in my view, are MSI’s 240Hz models, and they’re often on sale at Newegg, too.
