Newegg deal knocks $250 off MSI RTX 5060, Ryzen 7 260 gaming laptop’s list price
Table of Contents
This MSI Cyborg A15 gaming laptop is currently $250 off at Newegg, coming in at $1,249.00. In terms of its configuration and pricing, it sits closer to the budget-friendly end so, as expected, it scaled back in some areas that may or may not be a deal-killer for you. In short, this laptop is designed primarily for gaming in FHD at high frame rates and general workstation usage.
It has an RTX 5060 and Ryzen 7 260 at its core, supported by 16GB of high-speed DDR5. This combination gives you solid FHD gaming performance, boosted further by Blackwell features like DLSS, MFG, GDDR7 VRAM, 4th-gen ray tracing cores, and 5th-gen tensor cores. The CPU is appropriate here for the price, packing 8 cores, 16 threads, a 5.1GHz boost clock, and 16MB L3 cache.
Now the screen itself is not particularly impressive from a color perspective. While its refresh rate and resolution are in line with the RTX 5060’s capabilities, its color gamut is a fairly lacklustre 45% NTSC. For creatives, this wouldn’t be ideal. For gaming, it’s fine, but it’s not going to make games look their very best, either. That being said, with its 144Hz refresh rate and for the price, this laptop is a solid, budget-friendly pick for high refresh rate gaming on the go.
