Deal @ Newegg

The system is powered by AMD’s Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor. This eight-core, 16-thread CPU operates at a listed base frequency of 4.7GHz and can boost as high as 5.2GHz when thermal and power conditions allow. Its biggest advantage is AMD’s 3D V-Cache technology. The additional cache allows the processor to retain more frequently accessed game data close to the CPU cores, reducing delays caused by repeated trips to system memory. This can improve both average frame rates and frame-time consistency in CPU-limited games. The Ryzen 7 9800X3D is especially strong in simulation games, competitive shooters, strategy titles, and open-world releases that place substantial pressure on the processor. It also has enough multithreaded capability for streaming, video editing, software development, and general creative workloads.

Graphics processing is handled by NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5080 with 16GB of GDDR7 memory. This is a high-end GPU built for demanding 1440p and 4K gaming, with enough graphics memory for high-resolution textures, advanced ray-traced effects, and complex creative projects. At 1440p, the RTX 5080 should provide very high frame rates in most modern games, making it a strong match for fast 165Hz, 240Hz, and even higher-refresh-rate monitors. At 4K, it is capable of running demanding titles at high or maximum settings, especially when DLSS is enabled.

What we like about this Skytech Gaming O11 Vision RTX 5080 Gaming PC

Excellent high-end gaming performance

The combination of AMD’s Ryzen 7 9800X3D and NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5080 gives this system the performance needed for demanding 1440p and 4K gaming. The processor’s 3D V-Cache is particularly effective in CPU-sensitive games, while the GPU’s 16GB of GDDR7 memory provides enough capacity for high-resolution textures, ray tracing, and advanced visual settings.

Strong supporting hardware

System memory consists of 32GB of DDR5-6000 RGB RAM. This capacity is well suited to modern games, streaming software, video editing, large browser sessions, and heavy multitasking. The 6000MT/s memory speed is also a sensible pairing for an AM5 gaming platform.

Storage is provided by a 2TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD. This should deliver fast Windows startup, short application loading times, rapid file transfers, and reduced game-loading delays compared with SATA-based storage. Two terabytes gives users enough space for Windows, productivity software, and a sizeable collection of modern games. Users working with large video libraries, AI models, or 3D assets may eventually want additional storage, but the X870 platform should provide room for future expansion.

The AMD X870 motherboard gives the build a modern foundation with support for DDR5 memory, PCIe expansion, high-speed NVMe storage, and future AM5 processor upgrades. Skytech states that component brands may vary, so the exact motherboard model and rear I/O configuration may differ between systems.

Premium cooling and presentation

Processor cooling is handled by a 360mm all-in-one liquid cooler with ARGB fans. The large radiator offers substantial cooling capacity and should help the Ryzen 7 9800X3D maintain consistent boost behaviour during extended gaming or productivity workloads.

The Lian Li O11 Vision chassis uses an expansive glass-heavy design intended to showcase the internal hardware. Its dual-chamber layout helps separate the power supply and cable management from the main component area, producing a cleaner appearance while leaving the graphics card, liquid cooler, and RGB memory clearly visible.

Great connectivity

Wireless connectivity is listed as 802.11ac Wi-Fi. This is adequate for general internet access and online gaming, but it is older than Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E, and Wi-Fi 7. A wired Ethernet connection will usually provide the lowest latency and most stable performance for competitive gaming. The system includes USB 2.0, USB 3.0, USB 3.2 Gen 1, HDMI, DisplayPort, headphone, and microphone connectivity. Skytech guarantees at least one HDMI and one DisplayPort output, although the final graphics card may provide additional connections depending on the specific brand installed.

Sensible power delivery

The 850W 80 Plus Gold ATX 3 power supply is appropriately sized for the Ryzen 7 and RTX 5080 combination. It should provide enough capacity for the system under heavy load while maintaining better efficiency than a lower-rated unit.

Who should consider this RTX 5080 PC deal?

The Skytech Gaming O11 Vision is designed for enthusiast gamers who want strong 4K performance without moving up to the considerably more expensive RTX 5090. It is also suitable for streamers, video editors, 3D artists, and users working with GPU-accelerated creative or AI applications.
