What we like about this TV
So let’s kick things off with the panel technology here, which is QD-mini LED. What this is a hybrid tech, which combines the color of Quantum Dot with precision of mini-led. What that results in is very clear, sharp picture quality, with excellent brightness and vibrancy and contrast.
What you’ve also got is something called a TCL Halo Control System. This helps reduce ‘haloing’ which can occur sometimes in mini-led TVs. It’s a big win that will keep high contrast images looking crisp.
On the gaming front, this TV brings a lot. It has a refresh rate of 144hz, which is akin to most high-end gaming monitors. On top of that, it also has tech that facilitates higher fps gaming, such as VRR and AMD FreeSynce. Both of these reduce blur when on-screen motion is fast, so it’s good for sports too.
