What we like about this LG 65-inch C6 Series TV
Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen 3 is seriously top-of-the-line
The better the processor, the better a TV can essentially enhance picture quality, and this particular processor boasts serious AI power and much faster processing speeds than previous generations. Notably, it powers LG’s Brightness Booster, which allows for more vivid, bright, and lifelike visuals. You’re basically getting one of the top processors available right now.

Immersive sizing without being too massive or expensive
Coming in at 65 inches, this TV is basically the sweet spot, as it’s large enough to give you a good, home theatre-like experience, but not too big that it will completely dominate your room. Also, at over 65 inches, prices do tend to leap up for fairly minimal gain, at least in my view.
Packed with gaming features that make it ideal for console and PC
This TV shares a lot in common with a high-end gaming monitor. It features a rapid 0.1ms response time and very high 165Hz refresh rate, which, when supported by G-Sync and FreeSync, ensures that you can game at very high fps, without running into screen tearing, stutter, motion blur, or ghosting.
Very high-end OLED display with Perfect Black and Perfect Color technology
What you’ve got here is a TV that essentially has an infinite contrast ratio, due to its 8.3 million self-lit smart pixels. As opposed to backlit TVs, this LG C6 model’s ability to ‘switch off’ these pixels means that you get deeply atmospheric, lifelike visuals, which completely transform your viewing experience, especially in lower light environments.
Is it a good time to buy?
Absolutely. As you can see from the price tracking data above, it’s not only at its best price ever, but it’s also a genuinely massive discount, as it’s been sitting at around $2700 with little movement from April.
I’d expect it to stay at that price for a little while longer, but I’m predicting that it’ll jump back up to its full list price again soon. It’s a newer model, so generally speaking, I wouldn’t expect frequent massive discounts like this unless we’re in major sales periods.
