One of Philip’s fantastic Evnia QD-OLED gaming monitors has dropped to a new record-low price on Amazon, with 27% off its list price. It’s now going for $399.99, which is seriously good value considering this monitor is 360Hz, QHD, and even has built-in aRGB. Your typical monitor like this would usually go for around the $500 mark, so you have a point of reference.

Obviously the big thing here is this monitor’s refresh rate and panel technology. With 360Hz, you’re able to hit competitive framerates, which is going to be great for fast-paced titles. With QD-OLED, you’re getting outstanding picture qualty, with deep blacks, bright highlights, and even better color than your standard OLED display. This type of monitor is ideal for showcasing games at their best, giving them a much more cinematic quality that’s hard to beat.

Here’s a quick run through of this monitor’s key features and components, so you can see if it’s right for you. I’d say that if you’ve got a higher-end QHD gaming build, like something with an RTX 5070 Ti or similar, this monitor will complement it nicely, and won’t completely break the bank, either.

What we like about this Philips Evnia QD-OLED gaming monitor

Sweet-spot resolution to size ratio

QHD at 27 inches is still one of the best ways to go if you’re after crisp and clear picture quality at a more affordable price pointt than most 4K alternatives.

360Hz and 0.03ms response time for competitive gaming

With a refresh rate like this, and response time this low, you can expect super-smooth gameplay with minimal motion blur and ghosting.

QD-OLED makes games and HDR content shine

This DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified QD-OLED panel delivers an impressive 1000 nits peal brightness, 1.5M contrast ratio, and 98.5% DCI-P3 color. In fact, the color is so good, you could easily use this for professional video editing and other creative work, too.

Ambiglow aRGB system is a seriously premium touch

This lighting system is built-in to the back of the monitor, and can be either set to a custom color or sync with what’s happening on screen. It looks fantastic, and certainly ups the immersion when playing in darker rooms.

Things to consider before buying

This is a great monitor, but it’s not for everyone. I’d say that if you’re playing single player games at lower framerates, I’d highly recommend opting for a 240Hz option instead. I’m seeing QHD, 240Hz, QD-OLED monitors dip as low as $350 when discounted recently, so they’re nowhere near as expensive as you’d think. MSI has some great options, which are affordable, but still pack excellent performance, and comprehensive burn-in protection suites.
