The ASRock Challenger Arc B580 is a great budget graphics card that offers a high VRAM capacity with a low price tag. This GPU was Intel’s answer to the previous generation of NVIDIA and AMD budget GPUs, and it did a great job to shake up that market segment when it launched, as it offered much better output without denting your wallet. XeSS is also part of the package, an upscaling technology from Team Blue that helps it deliver better FPS at higher resolutions.
This cost-effective graphics card has been made even more affordable over at Newegg, as it is currently sitting at its 30-day lowest price, making it the prime time to score it. With 12GB of VRAM, it showed a decent productivity boost over the RTX 4060 in various tests, and we’ve reviewed a couple of B580 variants, so we recommend checking those out before making your decision.

What we liked about the ASRock Challenger Arc B580
Notable performance at 1080p and 1440p, without relying on XeSS
It shouldn’t be surprising to see that a budget GPU has good performance at 1080p and 1440p since these are the resolutions it is designed for. This card did a great job of challenging the RTX 4060 and RX 7600 XT when it came out, as it outperformed those across every resolution. We tested and reviewed the SPARKLE Intel Arc B580 TITAN OC, the Maxsun Intel Arc B580 iCraft, and the Acer Nitro Intel Arc B580. It would be better to see for yourself how it performed.
