Popular Kodak PIXPRO FZ45 digital camera is better in this Amazon deal – a good offer to snap up
Table of Contents
Recent trends of returning to gadgets from prior decades haven’t ignored digital cameras. Cameras suffered during the smartphone boom in the early 2010s, but popularity is back up, and we’ve spotted a likable low-cost option. For easy and quick snaps on trips, outings, and in daily life, the Kodak PIXPRO FZ45 is a good fit. On Amazon, it’s down to $99.99 from $140, a $30 (23%) saving, and it features a 4X Optical Zoom, supports 1080p video, and up to 512GB of storage.
Why we like the Kodak PIXPRO FZ45
Easy and affordable
Kodak has a long history and reputation in cameras, and this model should quickly win over new users, including kids. It’s an affordable digital camera that does exactly what most users need, and Amazon and third-party reviewers report that it’s very easy to use. Plus, it’s highly compact and easy to take on trips and visits.
Good quality snaps and video
For the $100 deal price, this cannot match much more expensive DSLR or digital cameras. However, its 16MP CMOS sensor delivers good snaps and supports 1080p video. Plus, it has a 4x optical zoom, a 27mm wide-angle lens, and a 2.7-inch LCD touchscreen for easy functionality. If you were around cameras in the 2000s or 2010s, you’ll be right at home.

Uses SD cards and AA battery
The PIXPRO FZ45 supports Class 10 SD, SDHC, or SDXC cards, with a maximum card storage of 512GB. That’s a good capacity and should be enough for more casual use. The removable SD cards make it easy to transfer snaps and video to a PC or laptop with an SD card reader. And keeping the camera powered up is easy, too, with AA batteries.
What to consider before you buy
At the deal price, the PIXPRO FZ45 is a good, low-cost digital camera, although you will need to purchase an SD card and an SD card reader separately. It’s also worth noting that you may find more affordable digital camera models from less well-known camera companies. However, with this deal, we’d be happy picking up the PIXPRO FZ45 for trips and easy snapping – especially if we wanted to protect more expensive cameras or detach from our smartphone.
