The Netgear Orbi 770 is a three-piece Wi-Fi 7 mesh system designed for large homes where a single router may struggle to provide a strong connection in every room. This package includes one router and two satellite extenders, which work together to cover up to 8,000 square feet and support as many as 100 connected devices. And if you’ve been planning to get it for yourself, you’ll be glad to learn this system is currently available with a 19% discount on Amazon, which has knocked its price down to $569.99, which is only $15 more than its lowest price of $544.99.

What we like about the Netgear Orbi 770
Great for large homes or offices
The biggest reason to choose a mesh system like the Orbi 770 is whole-home Wi-Fi coverage. Instead of expecting one router to reach every room, the two included satellites extend the network to areas farther away from the main router. Netgear rates this three-pack for up to 8,000 square feet, which makes it particularly useful for large houses, multi-story homes, or properties where thick walls cause Wi-Fi problems.
Solid connection
The router and satellites all operate as part of the same mesh network. This means you don’t have to manually disconnect from one Wi-Fi network and join another as you move around your home. Your phone, laptop, and other compatible devices can stay connected while the Orbi system handles the connection in the background.

Wi-Fi 7
Wi-Fi 7 brings higher speeds and improved performance when multiple devices are competing for bandwidth. Netgear advertises combined speeds of up to 11Gbps, although this doesn’t mean a single device or your internet connection will automatically run at 11Gbps. Actual speeds depend on your internet plan, device, distance, interference, and other conditions.
Good for multiple devices
Netgear says you can connect up to 100 devices, making the Orbi 770 suitable for busy households. That’s useful when you consider how quickly connected devices can add up. Phones, tablets, computers, TVs, game consoles, cameras, smart speakers, and other smart-home products can all be using the network at the same time.
Who is this Netgear Orbi 770 mesh system for?
The Netgear Orbi 770 makes the most sense if you have a large home where a normal router leaves weak spots or dead zones. With one router and two satellites, the system can spread Wi-Fi across up to 8,000 square feet while keeping everything under one network. Wi-Fi 7, tri-band connectivity, Enhanced Backhaul, and support for up to 100 devices also make it well suited to households with lots of connected hardware.
