We spotted the Ryzen Threadripper 9970X on Amazon on sale, and it has 8% shaved off its asking price. This is relatively lighter on the pocket compared to the 9980X and is built for servers and workstations. The current discounted asking price is $2,299.99, whereas before the price cut, it would’ve cost you $2,499.
It has a huge core count that makes it perfect for extreme multitasking, but also keep in mind that it is very power hungry and requires a good cooling solution as well. We won’t recommend this processor for gaming as it isn’t meant for that, but for anything related to productivity and heavy processing, it should be an outstanding CPU to go for.
